How to verify a plastic bottle manufacturer in China

Shenzhen Shijin Plastic Packaging Products Co., Ltd. manufactures plastic bottles, jars and closures in Guangdong, China — we are not a trading company. This page sets out the documented information a buyer can check, and how to check it, before a purchase order is placed.

Direct answer

Is Shijin a real plastic bottle manufacturer?

['Yes. Shenzhen Shijin Plastic Packaging Products Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer, not a trading company. Every bottle we ship follows the same eleven production stages and all of them run on our own floor, in two plants in Guangdong, China.', 'We hold ISO 9001:2015 for our quality management system, we run an in-house mold shop alongside 10+ injection-molding machines and 30+ automatic blow-molding lines, and we have exported plastic packaging for 23 years.', 'Buyers can verify the following documented information directly: the legal entity, the two plant addresses, the equipment and tooling on site, the quality system we hold, and the records we release on request.']

This page is written for a buyer running a supplier check, not for a brochure. It lists what we are, where we are, what runs in-house, what is measured, and which documents you can ask for — including the items we cannot issue. Where a figure is not published, the page says so rather than filling the gap.

Key facts

Company

The legal entity and the operating record

Vendor onboarding starts with the legal entity. These are the details a compliance team will match against a certificate, a contract and a shipping document.

Company record

Legal company name
Shenzhen Shijin Plastic Packaging Products Co., Ltd.
Legal name in Chinese
深圳市时进塑料包装制品有限公司
Brand name used on this site
Shijin Packaging
Founded
August 2003, in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
Operating history
2003 — founded in Huangmabu, Bao’an, Shenzhen, with RMB 5 million in registered capital, starting on cosmetic and daily-use plastic packaging. 2015 — relocated to a purpose-built plant in Kengzi, Pingshan District, Shenzhen, expanding blow-molding and injection capacity. 2020 — the Huizhou plant opened in Dongwenxin Industrial Park, Huiyang, taking the combined floor area to 15,000 m². 2022 — a Guangzhou office opened in Baiyun District.
Business scope
Plastic bottles, jars, preforms, closures, lotion pumps and sprayers (trigger, foam and mist), together with the finishing that travels with them: silk screen printing, labeling and hot stamping. Materials worked: PET, PE, HDPE, PP, PETG and PCR.
In-house processes
Injection molding, injection stretch blow molding (ISBM), extrusion blow molding (EBM), mold making, decoration and quality control.
Export markets
Cosmetics, skincare, personal care, hair care, household and cleaning, and packaging importers — in 30+ countries.
OEM / ODM
Color, finish and logo customization, quoted per project.

A manufacturer and a trading company answer the same questions differently. The test that separates them is physical capability: whether the mold shop, the machines and the QC records exist on the same site as the answer. Our walkthrough of that test is on how to evaluate a plastic packaging supplier.

Factory

Two production plants and one office

These are three addresses of one company, not three companies. The two plants are production sites under the same quality system; the Guangzhou address is a commercial office with no production.

Shenzhen HQ & Plant

Kengzi Street, Pingshan District,
Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

Head office and production plant. Injection molding, blow molding, the in-house mold shop, decoration and QC all sit on this site.

Huizhou Plant

Dongwenxin Industrial Park, Huiyang District,
Huizhou, Guangdong, China

Second production plant. 30+ automatic blow-molding lines, the injection shop, the in-house mold shop and the QC lab. Buyer visits are hosted here.

Guangzhou Office

Wanggang, Baiyun District,
Guangzhou, Guangdong, China

Commercial office serving buyers across the Greater Bay Area. No production takes place at this address.

Injection, stretch blow, extrusion blow, decoration and quality control run inside both plants, so the same inspection plan applies whichever site runs your order. If your vendor-approval process needs the named production site, it is confirmed during quotation. Buyer visits are hosted at the Huizhou Huiyang plant — see how to arrange one.

Manufacturing

What runs in-house, and where to read the detail

Every bottle we ship follows the same eleven production stages: raw material, preform or parison, injection, ISBM or EBM, trimming, inspection, decoration, closure matching, final QC, packing and export.

Equipment

Equipment and capacity on the floor

Equipment is the part of a supplier check that cannot be answered from a catalogue. This is the list a buyer can compare against a walkthrough or a third-party audit.

Production equipment

Injection molding
10+ injection-molding machines, running preforms and the closure and dispenser components that go with them.
Blow molding
30+ automatic blow-molding lines across the two plants, covering the PET stretch-blow route and the PE / HDPE / PP extrusion-blow route.
Mold shop
An in-house mold shop on site: maintenance on stock molds, modification of an existing mold, and new tooling built for a specific project. PET tools are numbered SJT; PE tools are numbered SJE.
Decoration
Silk screen (up to six colours), hot stamping, pressure-sensitive labelling, spray coating with matte, gloss, frosted, holographic and soft-touch finishes, pad printing and shrink-sleeve labelling all run in-house.
QC lab
On-site inspection for dimensions, weight, wall thickness, closure fit, leak resistance and drop performance.
Packing and warehouse
Carton count, shipping marks and finished-goods staging before export, on the same site.

Capacity is quoted against a specific product, mold and material rather than as a single plant-wide figure. Confirmed during quotation: tell us the bottle and the volume, and the number comes back against your own specification rather than a plant-wide average.

Tooling

The mold shop, and what it changes for a buyer

Tooling is the difference between a two-week program and a three-month one, and it is the first place a reseller runs out of answers.

  • ▸The tooling library holds 2,000+ stock molds — 646 PET, 427 PE, 22 HDPE and 13 PETG. A stock mold can be used as it is, or modified where the change is within the steel.
  • ▸Three routes exist: buy from a stock mold, modify a stock mold, or develop a private mold for a shape that does not exist yet.
  • ▸Mold making, mold maintenance and sampling sit in the same building, so a modification is measured against the actual cavity rather than described over email.
  • ▸Sampling from an existing mold typically runs 3–10 days. A new tool is a longer program, normally 15–30 days.
  • ▸Mold ownership and exclusivity are defined in the commercial agreement. We do not promise free tooling, and we do not treat lifetime mold ownership as a default.
Quality

The quality system a buyer can audit

ISO 9001:2015 is the certification we hold. It covers the management system, not any individual bottle — and the distinction matters when the person reading it is signing a regulatory filing.

Inspection and testing on every lot

Incoming material
Resin grade and supplier batch logged at IQC, with moisture checked before drying.
Wall thickness
Measured at four points per cavity.
Weight
Weight tolerance ±2%.
Visual inspection
Every 30 minutes in process.
Final inspection
AQL 2.5.
Drop test
1.2 m drop test.
Leak test
Air-pressure leak test on all closures.
Records
A QC report per lot.

Documentation discipline: ISO 9001 is the certification we hold. Supplier audit reports, material COA, migration test reports and recycled-content documents are issued as documents on request — they are evidence, not certifications.

Document typeWho issues itWhat it coversWhat it is not
CertificationThird-party certification bodyISO 9001:2015 for quality management. This is the certification we hold. Not a product approval, and not a statement about any individual bottle or closure.
Testing ReportAn accredited third-party laboratoryMigration and food-contact testing, heavy-metal content, leak, drop and closure-torque reports on the assembled unit. Not a certificate, and it does not cover a lot other than the one tested.
Material DocumentationThe resin manufacturer, passed through usMaterial safety data sheets, food-contact declarations for the resin grade, and the grade's technical data. Not a Shijin certification, and not a finished-part test.
Recycled Content DocumentationRecycler, converter and us, as a chainPCR and rPET / rPE content declarations and the supply-chain records that support the percentage. Not a recycled-content certification, and it does not by itself licence the use of any recycled-content logo.
Compliance DocumentationShijin, backed by the reports aboveEU 10/2011 food-contact documentation, FDA food-contact documentation for the resin, third-party factory audit records and turnkey export paperwork. Not a certification, and it does not replace your own regulatory filing or registration.
Verification

Four ways to verify us

Pick whichever fits your process. All four are available to a buyer who has not placed an order yet.

Factory visit

Come and see the plant

  • ▸Buyer visits are hosted at the Huizhou Huiyang plant, and you are welcome before you place a first order.
  • ▸Give us about 5–7 working days’ notice, so the visit lines up with the lines running your format.
  • ▸What you will walk through: 30+ automatic blow-molding lines, the injection shop, the in-house mold shop and the QC lab.
Arrange a visit →
Sample verification

Approve a physical sample first

  • ▸Sampling from an existing mold typically runs 3–10 days; a new tool is a longer program, normally 15–30 days.
  • ▸Weight, wall thickness, neck finish, closure fit and decoration adhesion are checked on the sample itself, not on a render.
  • ▸You approve the sample, the color chip and the master sample behind it before mass production is released.
What to check on a sample →
Third-party audit

Send your own inspector

  • ▸You are free to send your own inspector or an agency for a pre-shipment inspection; we agree the checklist and the date in advance.
  • ▸Third-party factory audit and supplier verification reports are available on request.
  • ▸The factory audit pack contains the process flow, the equipment list and QC records.
Quality documents →
Documentation available upon request

The document list

  • ▸A capability statement and copies of our ISO 9001:2015 certificate. Available upon request; original certificates and English translations are available for factory audits.
  • ▸The material test reports we hold, including food-contact and EU 10/2011 documentation for the resin.
  • ▸Recycled-content supply-chain documentation for PCR orders, a QC report per lot, and the export paperwork: packing list and commercial invoice.
  • ▸Where your market requires testing we do not hold, third-party SGS testing can be arranged when your market asks for it.
Certification — what we hold →
Limits

What we do not claim

A verification page is only useful if it also records the limits. These are the statements we will not make, whoever asks.

Where the line is

  • ▸ISO 9001:2015 is the certification we hold. We do not hold or claim GRS, CE, SGS, FDA or BSCI certification, and we do not describe a test report, an audit report or a supply-chain document as a certification.
  • ▸We do not publish customer names or brand logos on this site. Customer projects are described by market, material and pack type.
  • ▸We do not claim that any test result covers a lot other than the one tested.
  • ▸We do not publish a price list, stock levels or shipping rates. Packaging is quoted per specification, and the quotation is the only place a price exists.
  • ▸We do not claim a certificate, ranking, award or marketplace status that we cannot produce as a document from the issuing body.
  • ▸Mold ownership and exclusivity are defined in the commercial agreement; we do not promise free tooling or lifetime mold ownership as a matter of course.

If a document your process requires does not exist, we will say so rather than issue a substitute. That answer is more useful to a compliance team than a document that will not survive the audit.

Buyer check

The documents to request from any supplier, including us

This list is the same one we would hand a buyer for a competing supplier. Use it to compare, not to take our word for anything.

Checklist

Factory verification request list

Ask for these, from any supplier
  • ☐Legal company name, and the registration record that matches it.
  • ☐Plant addresses — and which one will actually run your order.
  • ☐The ISO 9001:2015 certificate, and the scope it covers.
  • ☐A capability statement and an equipment list.
  • ☐The process flow for the specific bottle, not a generic one.
  • ☐A QC report from a previous lot, with the commercial data removed.
  • ☐Material documentation: what the resin grade is, and what it complies with.
  • ☐A dimensioned drawing of the bottle you are being quoted.
  • ☐A retained-sample policy: what is kept, for how long and where.
  • ☐Whether the decoration is printed in-house or bought in.
Then check them against each other
  • ☐The certificate scope covers the processes you are actually buying.
  • ☐The equipment list names the machine class your bottle needs.
  • ☐The quoted dimensions match the drawing, not the sample photo.
  • ☐The named production site matches the one you were given for audit.
  • ☐The document set answers your market filing, not the supplier’s.
Signals that a document set will not survive scrutiny
  • ▸A certificate the company cannot produce as a document from the issuing body.
  • ▸An equipment list that names no machines, or machines that do not fit your bottle.
  • ▸A QC report with no lot number, no limits and no measured values.
  • ▸A refusal to name the process, the material grade or the neck finish in writing.
  • ▸A sample that matches the photograph but not the drawing.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before a factory visit

Is Shijin a manufacturer or a trading company?+

Shenzhen Shijin Plastic Packaging Products Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer. Every bottle we ship follows the same eleven production stages, and all of them run on our own floor: raw material, preform or parison, injection, ISBM or EBM, trimming, inspection, decoration, closure matching, final QC, packing and export. A buyer contracts with the factory, not with an intermediary.

Can buyers visit the factory?+

Yes. Buyer visits are hosted at the Huizhou Huiyang plant, and you are welcome before you place a first order. We ask for about 5–7 working days’ notice, so the visit can be lined up with the lines running your format. You can walk through the 30+ automatic blow-molding lines, the injection shop, the in-house mold shop and the QC lab.

Can I send a third-party inspector?+

Yes. You are free to send your own inspector or an agency for a pre-shipment inspection; we agree the checklist and the date in advance. Third-party factory audits are a normal part of onboarding for overseas brands, and third-party factory audit and supplier verification reports are available on request.

What documents can Shijin provide for vendor approval?+

A capability statement, copies of our ISO 9001:2015 certificate, the material test reports we hold (including food-contact and EU 10/2011 documentation for the resin), recycled-content supply-chain documentation for PCR orders, a QC report per lot, and the export paperwork: packing list and commercial invoice. For a full vendor audit we also provide a factory audit pack: process flow, equipment list and QC records. Original certificates and English translations are available on request.

Can I verify quality on a sample before placing a production order?+

Yes, and it is the normal route. Sampling from an existing mold typically runs 3–10 days; a new tool is a longer program, normally 15–30 days. You approve the physical sample, the color chip and the master sample behind it before mass production is released. Weight, wall thickness, neck finish, closure fit and decoration adhesion are all checked on the sample itself.

Does Shijin hold ISO 9001?+

ISO 9001:2015 is the certification we hold, and it covers our quality management system. It is not a product approval and it is not a statement about any individual bottle. We do not hold or claim GRS, CE, SGS, FDA or BSCI certification: test reports, material declarations and recycled-content records are issued as documents on request, not as certificates.

How do I know which site will run my order?+

Two plants in Guangdong, China — Shenzhen Pingshan and Huizhou Huiyang — plus a Guangzhou office. Injection, stretch blow, extrusion blow, decoration and QC run inside those two plants, and the same inspection plan applies whichever site runs your order. If your vendor-approval process needs a named production site, it is confirmed during quotation.

What happens if my market needs a document you do not have?+

We will say so rather than issue a substitute. Where a market requires testing we do not hold, third-party SGS testing can be arranged when your market asks for it. Things we cannot issue in our own name include a GRS, CE or FDA certificate — those belong to the issuing body or to the manufacturer of the material, not to us.

Glossary

Speak the same language about molds and products

Our definitions of stock mold, private mold, mold, product, published product, stock product and custom product are fixed across the site, so a quote and a spec mean the same thing to both sides.

Arrange a factory verification

Tell us the date and the format. We will make the line, the QC records and the warehouse available — and if you cannot travel, ask for the document pack instead.

Part of About — Custom Plastic Packaging Manufacturer

Tell us the bottle you need - we will quote it

Send the capacity, material, neck finish and expected annual volume. MOQ is 5,000 pcs and sampling runs 3–10 days. You will get a written quotation against your own specification, not a catalogue price list.
